A while back we bought an old Geiger counter at a mad scientists garage sale (or at least that’s what the place looked like). In any case, since that time we’ve been measuring the radiation levels around our house and our store. The readings are sporadic, and so exactly what you’d expect for background radiation in the Pacific Northwest. Even after the Fukashima meltdowns, we showed no increase in the background radiation that we could detect.
