We will be closed today to have extended time with our families. We hope all of you spent time with your families this past Mother’s Day.

As for the last question, feeding the world, the UN figures that we could feed everyone on the planet for about 195 Billion dollars per year.
At this point the US has is estimated to have spent over 3.7 TRILLION+ on the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. This works out to 300 Billion+ per year for the last 11 years. So for what we’ve spent on war every year, we could have more than fed every person on the planet. You have to wonder which would have made us more friends and secured world peace, bombing countries back into the stone age, or feeding their populations (not to mention our own homeless/hungry!).
Tonight is the Fremont Artwalk, and we will be featuring an appearance by artist TV Tommy, and we also be have tarot readings by Marcia Moonstone. Stop by and check out all the local art that we have – at any given time we have art by over 20 different local artists on hand!
