It's a lofty comparison indeed for the humble neighborhood of Wallingford. We encourage everyone to visit both, and make your own determination.

We are working on being THE place in Seattle for cutting edge, funny, wacky cards. If you want something like you might find at Hallmark, DON'T come to us! For things like that we actually reccommend the card store Paper Delights down the block from us. If you want cards that push the envelope, that are funny, wacky, we are THE place. Look for an expanded selection coming soon. One of the newest lines we carry which pushes the envelope is Across the Line. Very funny cards!

We really want to rank highly for "CARDS", as we sell a LOT of cards and we intend on being Seattle's premier place for edgy, funny, wacky, goofy cards. We are not Hallmark, and NEVER will be. If you want elegant, classy cards, we reccommend Paper Delights just down the street from us - very nice elegant cards, but not that funny. If you want in you're face x-rated, we reccommend the Erotic Bakery, also down the street from us, great selection of full frontal nudity. Our cards walk that line between the two, featuring such great card lines as Across the Line (very, new, VERY funny), Smart Alex, Clayboys, Greetings from Uranus, MikWright, and many more (including local artists). We divide our cards up by sections, religious, potty humor, etc. so it makes it easy for you to find the perfect card. When you think cards, and you're in Seattle, we're the store for you!

Just noticed that we don't rank so highly for the word T-shirts. Well we do have LOTS of t-shirts in the store We have some t-shirts online, but there are MANY more t-shirts in the store. We have a a large selection of old political t-shirts for just $5.00/each.  So be sure to come in and check out all the t-shirts. And if you make t-shirts, especially political ones, bring them in - we do sometimes buy t-shirts outright, and we're almost always to work out a consignment deal for t-shirts.

Was disappointed to find that our website did not show up in the top ten for the search "gift shop Wallingford" in Google. We we're listed in the 10 places that Google puts up at the top for local searches like this, but we feel our website should have been in the top ten for this also. So this entry is an attempt to rectify that. We are located in Wallingford, the 'Hood That Could. We call Wallingford the 'Hood That Could because Wallingford really is an old time community area that has pulled together to create a better neighborhood for residents and businesses alike. In Wallingford the current Community Council, Chamber and Neighborhood Office have very good working relations (unlike some neighborhoods), and work together on projects which make Wallingford a great community for everyone. Could it be because our own Number Six is VP of the Community Council , and Head Cheese is President of the Chamber ? Perhaps, but I like to think it is because Wallingford is just a great neighborhood. Whatever the case, spend some time in Wallingford, and you'll find an area that's almost like Mayberry RFD, where people know each other and businesses and residents join together to make a more interactive, fun community.

According to Google Analytics we  a lot of people search for the term Stephanie Miller, and we do come up in these rankings, but not high eough to have much impact. Thus we want everyone to know that we have met Stephanie Miller a couple of times, and we do have Stephanie's picture in our photo gallery. And here is Stephanie with our PeaceFlag
